What is in the Luxury Furs catalogue
Luxury Furs is a karakul fur atelier in Tashkent, working since 1998. Our catalogue is not a warehouse of hundreds of identical racks but a compact collection of handmade women’s fur coats, mantos and jackets. Every model is made in a limited run, so you choose by character rather than by quantity.
All the fur is Bukhara karakul: short, dense and hard-wearing, with a distinctive curl pattern. Cutting and sewing are done by hand by craftspeople in our atelier in Tashkent. The collection currently has four models:
- The “Noir” fur coat: deep black karakul, straight-cut, full-length
- The “Astra” fur coat: smoky grey karakul with a subtle pearlescent sheen
- The “Royale” manto: an elongated manto with a hand-finished standing collar, our premium line

The catalogue on screen and in person: why it is worth a visit
Photos in a catalogue give an idea of silhouette and colour, but karakul is a fur you need to see and touch. The sheen, the density of the curl and the softness can only really be judged in person, and the fit only in a fitting. The atelier is open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00, and closed on Sunday. You can come in, look at the fur and try a fur coat on, or, if you are not in Tashkent, discuss your choice remotely.
